About these terms
These terms apply when you use qgroup.dev or hire The Q Group Studio Inc. ("we", "us"). If your written proposal, agreement or invoice says something different, that document wins for your project.
Estimates and quotes
- Our free quote tool gives a price range, not a final price.
- We confirm the work, price and timeline in writing before any work begins.
- Work that is not in the agreed plan is quoted separately before we do it.
Invoices and payments
- Our prices are in Philippine pesos (PHP). Each invoice shows its due date.
- You can pay online with PayPal or a debit/credit card. PayPal charges in US dollars at the exchange rate shown on our payment page. QR Ph and InstaPay are also available for clients in the Philippines.
- Your bank or PayPal may charge its own fees.
- Recurring plans (like hosting or monthly SEO) are billed automatically each period. You can cancel anytime before the next billing date. Months already paid are not refunded.
- If an invoice is overdue, we send reminders. We may pause work or services until it is paid.
- If a payment is reversed, declined or charged back, the invoice becomes unpaid again.
Cancellations and refunds
- You can cancel a project anytime by telling us in writing.
- If we have not started the work, we refund what you paid for it.
- If work has started, you pay for the work done so far. Any extra amount you paid for work not yet done is refunded.
- Domain names, third-party licenses and other costs we paid to providers for you cannot be refunded.
What we need from you
- Your content (text, photos, logos), accounts and approvals on time. Delays on your side can move the timeline.
- Only send us materials you have the right to use.
- Keep your own passwords safe. Change any password you shared with us once the work is done.
Who owns the work
- Once your project is fully paid, you own the final website, designs and files we made for you.
- We keep the right to reuse our general tools, code and know-how in other projects.
- Fonts, plugins, themes and other third-party items stay under their own licenses.
- We may show your project in our portfolio. Just tell us if you would rather we didn't.
Hosting and support plans
- Each plan includes what is listed in your proposal or invoice, such as hosting, updates, backups and a set amount of support.
- Bigger changes or new features are quoted as a separate project.
- We work to keep your website online, but outages at hosting or other providers can happen and are outside our control.
Other providers
Some services rely on other companies, such as Cloudflare, PayPal, domain registrars, email providers, AI providers and Discord. Their own terms and fees apply. AI usage fees, server fees and similar costs are billed separately unless your invoice says otherwise.
Notes for specific services
SEO
Google decides search rankings, so no one can guarantee a position. We work to improve your chances and report on progress.
Business consultancy
Business consultancy is available for businesses in the Philippines only. We give advice; decisions and results remain yours.
Gaming services
- Some games do not allow piloting, boosting or account sharing. We explain the conditions and risks before you order.
- By ordering, you accept those risks, including possible penalties from the game company.
- We use your login details only for the agreed work. Change your password once the order is complete.
- You must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian.
Coming-soon products
Features shown for products that are not launched yet (like our POS system and game hosting) are plans and may change.
Limits of our responsibility
We do our work with care. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service involved, and we are not responsible for indirect losses such as lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under Philippine consumer law.
Ending our work together
Either of us can end a project or plan by giving written notice. You pay for work done and services used up to that date, and we hand over the finished work you have paid for.
Philippine law
These terms follow the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. We will always try to solve any problem with you directly first.
